Rosa ‘Touch of Class’

  • Introduced by Armstrong Nurseries in 1984
  • Bred in France by Michel Kriloff
  • Class: Hybrid Tea
  • Vibrant, glowing blend of coral-pink and apricot with soft cream highlights
  • Mild, sweet traditional rose scent
  • Parentage: Micaela x (Queen Elizabeth × Romantica)

Bred in France by Michel Kriloff, Touch of Class received the prestigious All-America Rose Selections (AARS) award in 1986. It later became particularly admired among rose exhibitors for the remarkably consistent form of its flowers.

In France, the cultivar is known as ‘Maréchale Leclerc,’ but it was given the more evocative name Touch of Class for the American market. With its refined high-centered form, sophisticated coral-and-cream coloring, and long elegant stems, the rose embodies the understated elegance suggested by the phrase “a touch of class.”
